New research by the University of Dundee and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation has warned climate change will increase pressure on household budgets, with already disadvantaged groups particularly at risk.

Getting ready for ECCA2017
Preparations for the 2017 European Climate Change Adaptation Conference in Glasgow are well underway. Using the theme of 'Our Climate Ready Future' the conference will gather over 1000 delegates from across Europe for four days of inspiring talks, exhibitions, events and excursions. The Draft Programme has now been released, including special Business and Innovations days, eleven excursions showcasing adaptation action in Scotland and a ceilidh.

New Climate Ready Clyde Chair invites organisations in the Glasgow City Region to get involved
The Climate Ready Clyde initiative has welcomed former SEPA Chief Executive James Curran as its interim chair. Organisations from all sectors are being invited to join the growing initiative that aims to increase climate resilience for a third of the Scottish population.
